1、 Precautions for installation of gas storage tank
1. Environmental temperature: The environmental temperature at the installation site of the gas storage tank should be within the operating temperature range of this equipment. If it exceeds this range, measures should be taken to insulate or move it indoors with temperature regulation.
2. The installation environment should be free of corrosive media (gas or liquid). When designing the gas storage tank, slight corrosion (annual corrosion rate ≤ 0.14mm/year) is considered. If the annual corrosion rate exceeds 0.14mm/year in the usage environment, anti-corrosion treatment should be carried out to ensure safe operation of the equipment within the recommended service life of 10 years.
3. No valve shall be installed between the safety valve and the gas storage tank.
If the maximum intake flow exceeds the safe release capacity of the air storage tank, the user should install a pressure relief device in their system.
5. A hard pipe connection should be used between the gas storage tank and the gas source, and a buffer bend should be added.

2、 Management of gas storage tank usage
1. The user unit is responsible for the safety management of the use of the gas storage tank. Gas storage tanks that comply with the Safety Technical Supervision Regulations for Fixed Pressure Vessels need to obtain a registration certificate for use and undergo regular inspections by local testing departments. Gas storage tanks that fall within the scope of the "Regulations on Safety Technology Supervision of Simple Pressure Vessels" do not need to be registered for use and should be used according to their designed service life. If they need to continue to be used after reaching their service life, the using unit should report to a special equipment inspection and testing institution for regular inspection in accordance with the "Rules for Periodic Inspection of Pressure Vessels".
2. The user unit should establish a safety management file for each gas storage tank, conduct regular maintenance, inspection, and record storage of the gas storage tank. When abnormal situations are discovered, special equipment inspection and testing institutions should be promptly requested for inspection.
3. The unit using the gas storage tank should strictly follow the operating procedures, and regular professional training and safety education should be provided to the operators.
4. It is strictly prohibited to use the gas storage tank over temperature or pressure. The equipment should be regularly drained and cleaned to ensure that the gas storage tank is in normal working condition.
5. The safety accessories of the gas storage tank should be regularly calibrated according to relevant regulations to ensure that the safety accessories work properly.
6. In the event of an accident involving a gas storage tank, the unit responsible for the accident should promptly take effective measures, organize rescue efforts, prevent the accident from escalating, and report and handle it in accordance with the requirements of the "Regulations on the Handling of Special Equipment for Pressure Vessels". It is not allowed to conceal, delay reporting, or make false reports.
